The Association for the Study of Peak Oil and Gas (ASPO) held it's first annual conference in Uppsala, Sweden in May, 2002.

This is an archive of early editions of the "ASPO-ODAC" Newsletter of the Association for the Study of Peak Oil & The Oil Depletion Analysis Centre.

ASPO is a network of European institutions and universities with an interest in determining the date and impact of the peak and decline of world oil production, due to resource constraints. It presently has members in: Austria, Germany, Ireland, Norway, Portugal, Sweden and the United Kingdom

ODAC is a charitable organisation in London that is dedicated to researching the subject and raising awareness of the serious consequences.

Mission:

  1. To evaluate the world's endowment of oil and gas;
  2. To model depletion, taking due account of economics, technology and politics;
  3. To raise awareness of the serious consequences for Mankind.
